In a statement released by the state’s public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, the raid saw the recovery of two locally made single-barrel pistols, four live cartridges, assorted charms, berets, and an award plaque.

The arrested suspects were identified as Oluwaseun Michael, 31, Adedotun Jelili, 25, and Solomon Moses, 22.

Hundeyin called on all parents and stakeholders in the community to advise the teeming youths against cultism and other vices.

He said, “The Lagos State Police Command uses this medium to call on parents, guardians, traditional, religious, political, and youth leaders to prevail on the teeming youth population to shun cultism and other vices.

“Suspects will be charged in court at the completion of the investigation.”
